Locked out when changing the password

So I was happily logged in on the Android app and thought why not access HA Green on the browser? But I got an “invalid username or password” error.

That’s weird, I thought, so opened the app to find a notification of a failed login attempt from my PC. Have I forgotten the password, I thought? I know - I’ll change the password in the app to a temporary, simple one and then I will have to enter the current one and will know I haven’t forgotten it. It also says the username you are logged in as, so you know that’s correct.

So I changed the password - taking great care with the new one - and I had indeed got the current password correct.

Having changed the password, I was logged out and now it won’t let me log back in with either the new password or the old one. I have cleared the cache and restarted HA Green to no avail.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks for replying. I have seen the “I’m locked out” help, but that’s not really the point. How can I be locked out when I am entering the correct username and password?

Answer: when it says ‘you are logged in as XXX’, ‘XXX’ is not (necessarily) your Username.
