Login attempt or request with invalid authentication router?

why do i keep getting the message that my router is trying to log into my HA server?

Either somebody/something on your home network is trying to login with the wrong credentials

or

somebody/something outside your network is trying to log in with the wrong credentials and you’re using a proxy and haven’t set up x_forwarded_for correctly so homeassistant doesn’t know where the actual requests are coming from.

Version 1.5 of the iOS home assistant app does this all the time too.

I think the auth component may be doing this.

but its giving the iP of my router

Yep. Even though my iPad has a unique IP address on the local network it’s still the router address that ends up getting reported and sometimes banned :confused:
