So weird question but how long are logger logs supposed to last and can I make it log more stuff? I have a fairly large drive and only use it for home assistant but I woke up and nothing had any log entries this morning for some reason.

Do you have any database related errors in the menu: Configuration / Logs ?
Not that I can see. I rebooted it and they reappeared. Idk.
Are you using the built in SQLite database? Back when I was using this to store my recorder history, I remember a couple times the history disappeared, to return after a reboot. I chalked it up to SQLite being a pretty lightweight db. These experiences, the interest to keep more history in a reliable db and query the data from outside HA lead me to move to Postgresql for recorder function. I have been happy with the results.
Huh. I’ll just make the backups more often and reboot or restore if theirs an issue. I didn’t know it was finicky
