I’ve been using Homeassistant for quite some time now and I’m still thrilled!
In my configuration (VM under Proxmox) I use a MariaDB as log storage, it is getting bigger and bigger…
In the forum I keep finding individual posts on the subject of long-term logs and short-term logs.
But I couldn’t find any information anywhere on how to set it up, use it, etc…
Does this make sense?
Or only in certain areas (solar system, possibly weather)
How to set it up?
What’s the big difference…
