Overview:
Need help setting up Home Assistant on raspberry pi and integrating it, happy to pay an expert to assist.
Primary technologies:
Google Home, Harmony Hub + Remote, Nvidia Shield, Home Assistant
Desired Voice commands:
Watch TV - turn on Denon receiver and LG TV, set to correct input, turn on Nvidia Shield, set sound to Dolby Digital Surround with channel volumes at standard level
Play VR - turn on Denon receiver and LG TV, change input to pc, start steam VR
Play my music - play songs randomly from my apple library on shield with 5 channel surround enabled, volume down on rear speakers, and ideally start Project M music visualizations too
control these via quickselect voice commands (optional if possible):
Change center spread - enable/disable center spread
5 channel surround - change to 5 channel surround
Rebalance Music - bring down volume of rear channels
Devices:
Nvidia Shield - used for all media playback on LGTV
Harmony Hub - Integrates with Google Home
LG TV - Everything is on single input
Denon H750 - Home Assistant should be able to control this
Smart Lights - I have hue’s setup with routines in the hue app and their hub, does it make sense to move some of that to HA?
Computer - Used for VR, I have eventghost installed to run webhooks. Eventghost.net - I have trouble with the syntax of scripting the pc automations, maybe there’s a better solution? Join and tasker maybe?
Physical Controls - It’d be nice to be able to assign some of the voice actions to buttons on the harmony or shield remote - I’m not sure if that’s possible. Buttonmapper looked like one solution. Maybe bluetooth buttons or something similar could be a solution.
