Looking for compatible doorbell recommendations

Hello,

Can anyone recommend an HA compatible doorbell with the following features:

  1. No subscription required
  2. Hard wired, no batteries
  3. SD card storage
  4. Motion detection integration. Able to process motion alerts.
  5. Video compatible would be nice!

Update: I’m considering the Tapo TP-Link D130 which is on the TP-Link integration compatibility list.

This - not that I have one… wish I did. Reolink is partnered with the Open Home Foundation, so that to me is a huge reason to pick them over others.

From seeing what TP-Link is doing with its 3rd party device support, I would suggest avoiding their products (for now).

Thanks, that’s good to know. I just ordered a Reolink. And cancelled the TP-Link. Not sure what model it is, at the link below.

Went with the Reolink. It was bear to configure, but well worth it. So many controls are exposed, including video. Nice!

That’s awesome - I have a Lorex on outdated firmware (latest firmware blocks API access) and I have access to barely anything. I have Frigate configured to access video and do all inference, and then I have a Dahua integration that allows me to access doorbell presses so I can trigger a custom doorbell siren. Can’t wait to get rid of it. The worst.

Rellink actually supports Home Assistant and has an integration. You can read about it here:

Im going to order the Reolink doorbell now, but its my only Reolink device… I have Tapo CCTV cameras - Will the Reolink hub store Tapo camera data as well?

As far as I know the hub is Reolink only. I have the hub because I have solar powered Reolink cameras, and it offloads a lot of the streaming to the hub. I just at a camera to the hub and it becomes visible in HA.
