Hi everyone,
I’m currently using a PEHA-JRM950 rail-mounted shutter controller. It has a bit of an unusual setup:
• The physical wall switches (momentary buttons) are powered by 24V DC, provided by the PEHA unit itself.
• The motors are controlled via 220V AC switching.
Now here’s my challenge: I want to make my shutters smart and integrate them with Home Assistant, but I haven’t found any Shelly or other compact smart relays that can handle this dual-voltage setup without using coupling relays. Most smart devices expect low-voltage inputs or they don’t isolate well between input and output circuits.
Ideally, I want to:
• Keep using the existing wall switches
• Add smart control via Home Assistant
• Avoid complex relay wiring if possible
Has anyone here solved a similar problem or knows of a suitable device that accepts 24V DC control input and switches 220V AC for the motors?
I’d really appreciate your input—this one’s got me scratching my head!
Best regards,
Jörg
