Looking for some manuals or examples on integration of Goole Assistant in HASS

Hi,
I’m dabbling some month now with lights, switches and some sensors together with some automations. Now I’d like to deploy Google Assistent. So, I signed up with Nabu Casa, activated the Google Assistent integration, I have Google assistent on my (android) phone, I verified external access and I’ve a nest mini, but not yet installed.

What I’m looking for is how to use simple voice instructions to trigger automations, scripts or scenes, or simply switch a light on or play some Spotify playlist. Do I have to use Google routines or can I do it directly in HASS? I’ve not been able to find some useful instructions sofar.

So if you could direct me to a useful source, I’d be very grateful.

You don’t need Google routines, it should have imported the exposed lights and switches from HA.
Just try: OK Google, turn light ‘yourlight’ on

Further to that, you can use “Google Home” on a phone to view / manage / interact with what has been imported from HA.

Ah, I noticed it when I installed the Home app.

Now, I discover I didn’t use voice friendly naming conventions. Can I add voice friendly aliases somehow?
And is there a way to have the scenes added also so I can command a particular scene somehow?
