Hi everyone,
I’m looking for volunteer testers for UGSo Grafik Visual Studio, an open-source visual editor for Home Assistant. The project is inspired by ioBroker VIS/VIS2 and provides a freely configurable dashboard with widgets, Home Assistant entity integration, and a runtime for displaying and controlling your devices.
Additional widget and tool packages can be installed through a package catalog. These include a MaterialDesign set that we’re currently comparing and improving widget by widget.
Experience with ioBroker VIS or VIS2 would be especially helpful. Home Assistant users without VIS experience are also welcome – your feedback on usability and getting started is just as valuable.
I’m looking for feedback on:
- Installation and getting started
- The editor, settings, and widget controls
- Widget appearance and behavior
- Bugs, missing features, and suggestions for improvement
The project is under active development. Please start with a separate test project.

If you’d like to help, please send me a private message using the forum’s chat feature. Include a little about your Home Assistant experience and, if applicable, your experience with VIS/VIS2.
Thanks to everyone willing to help test and improve the project!
