Looking for testers: Schedule Helper Card for Home Assistant

I’ve built a Home Assistant dashboard card for weekly schedules, for any device, in any home. Before I announce it officially, I’d love a few people to try it.

Two cards
:spiral_calendar: Schedules (the main card, for every home): set up a schedule for any device, and edit every schedule in the house.
:candle: Shabbat & Jewish holidays (optional extra): for homes that keep Shabbat and the Jewish holidays (chag / Yom Tov). Switch those modes on and off, with automatic Shabbat and chag.
You don’t need to keep Shabbat to use it: skip the second card, and hide Shabbat and chag in the settings.

What they do
• Schedule a device in one step: pick a device (AC, light, water heater, hot plate, blinds), what it should do (HVAC mode, temperature, brightness) and the hours for each day. You can change the device and action later.
• Edit every schedule in the house in a clear week view. Copy a day to weekdays or the whole week, and set ranges that run until midnight.
• Shabbat and chag modes: one switch turns every automation of the mode on or off.
• Automatic Shabbat and chag: switches the mode on before it starts (at a time you pick, or some hours before candle lighting) and off after it ends, once every schedule has finished.
• Candle lighting, havdalah and the parasha, from Jewish Calendar or Hebcal.
• Hebrew (right-to-left) and English.

No lock-in
No custom integration. The cards only create a standard HA schedule helper and a regular automation, which keep working without the cards. They only ever delete what they created themselves.

Install (HACS)

  1. HACS → ⋮ → Custom repositories
  2. Add https://github.com/yybd/schedule-helper-card as type Dashboard
  3. Search for Schedule Helper Card → Download → refresh the browser
  4. On a dashboard: Add card → “Schedule Helper Card” (both cards are there)

Needs Home Assistant 2025.1+ and an admin user to edit. Automatic chag needs the Jewish Calendar integration.

What I’m asking
Try creating a schedule on a non-critical device, edit it and delete it, and switch Shabbat mode on and off. Tell me what broke, what was confusing and what’s missing. Screenshots help a lot :folded_hands:
