Hello everyone,

I’m looking to hire someone local to the Newbury / Reading area who can come and help set up or sort out my Home Assistant system for me.

I’m not looking for general advice — I’d prefer someone with experience who can visit in person, understand what I want to achieve, and get everything working properly.

Hi Spiro, thanks for the Tip !

Briefly: I currently have Home Assistant set up, with 20 Kajplats GU10 smart bulbs across 7 groups, plus Wiz lights already connected. I also need to integrate and control Somfy blinds through the system.

Previously I had an automated setup that stopped working after a software update, and a friend helped start the move to Home Assistant but it’s not fully completed yet. It should be around 3–4 hours of work to get everything properly configured and working reliably.

I’m based in Newbury, Berkshire - are you local?

You may want to clarify which Newbury/Reading you're talking about... the colonial English had a tendency to reuse names alot... and they colonized a bunch of places.

Now I see you mentioned Berkshire in post #7.
