For experts proficient in HASS, LoRaWAN, and MQTT, STREGA has just validated its LoRaWAN irrigation valve actuators with Home Assistant.
The actuator can operate wirelessly over several kilometers/miles with a battery life of 7+ years (even with daily use). Bidirectional communication between the actuator and the LNS (tests performed on TTN) is made via MQTT. The device is available from the manufacturer for €150.00. A limited number are available for testing and evaluation. The documentation will be improved in the future.
