For experts proficient in HASS, LoRaWAN, and MQTT, STREGA has just validated its LoRaWAN irrigation valve actuators with Home Assistant.
The actuator can operate wirelessly over several kilometers/miles with a battery life of 7+ years (even with daily use). Bidirectional communication between the actuator and the LNS (tests performed on TTN) is made via MQTT. The device is available from the manufacturer for €150.00. A limited number are available for testing and evaluation. The documentation will be improved in the future. +1 and website shows a lot of technical infos but not address of company or phone number, looks like a scam or a vaporware 
No scam, guys, this is our company and located in Belgium. Long time HA user myself so experienced the device home using MQTT. Works great.
It is a working solution for long range wireless irrigation where Home Assistant provides real smart irrigation. You can consider my post as an ad...or a new solution that works.
