Hello,
I’m (almost) a newbie using Hassio.
I installed it on a Raspberry pi 3 and used it for a couple of days, along with a DeConz module.
Yesterday I set a static IP address and, after reboot, Hassio asks for the username/password, which I don’t have!
I tried to follow the documentation https://www.home-assistant.io/docs/authentication/#lost-owner-password, but I can’t access the machine via ssh. So I tried mounting the sd card (which has 4 partitions), but still I can’t locate the config folder.
What am I supposed to do?
Well fundamentally you are supposed to remember your password.
One of those partitions will have your /config directory. Search for the term “configuration.yaml”.
As far as I can remember, I didn’t set any password at first boot…
You need to set up a username and password when you first log in to the gui.
Yes, you are absolutely right! I deleted the .storage directory and was able to register again.
The whole process was so smooth that on the first time I completely forgot to store my credentials, and my usual password didn’t work.
