Lovelace: Dynamic weather tab/group icon?

First, my sincere thanks to all who have worked so hard on the recent releases. 0.87.0 is rock-solid for me and works flawlessly.

I’m struggling a bit so I thought I’d ask the experts. I was hoping to be able to change the tab/group icon for my Weather tab to equal the latest forecast icon. I can easily apply a value or icon template using the Dark Sky icon text values, but what icon should be set?

Here’s what I’m trying to do, visually:

Anybody have any thoughts on this? I’ll keep hacking away at this, but I’d really like a way to get the current weather icon to be reflected in the lovelace tab. Would make it easy to see weather at a glance.
