Lovelace Thermostat Card - increase handle size

I am using the lovelace thermostat card for controlling my smart thermostat.
I am having some trouble to tap+drag the handle (the little circle that you can drag along the curved track) through iOS app.

I was wondering if there is a possibility to increase the size of the handle to solve this.
It would be nice if this is user-customizable somehow.

I want to second to this. The handle size is perfectly fine on a mobile phone, but when I cast the dashboard to a Google Nest Hub, it’s extermly difficult to drag the handle. I would also like a way to customzie the handle size if possible.
