Low Level Voice Assistant

Hello.

After days of googleing without finding something usefull…

I’ve home assistant running. The computer running home assistant is in the basement. And I have the Home Assistant App running. In the app when clicking on the “Voice” icon the voice control works. E.g. “Living room light on”. That is all what I want. No LLM, or other fancy things. And: No Cloud.

So is there any module which I can install on an headless Raspberry Pi? I’ve already a Raspberry Pi running and I can attach high quality microphone at this - hoping the whole living room is covered.

The only thing I found which can be used is “Rhasspy”. But there are a few years without any change and it can not be installed / compiled on up to date Raspberry OS because of long outdated dependencies.

The Home Assistant Voice Preview seems a very interesting thing I’ll sure take a look later. But the Raspberry is already there and I expect a better experience on bigger rooms with better microphones which I can attach to the Raspberry, but not the device of the “Preview”.

Is there something I havn’t found? I’m a technician: I don’t need a “ready for production” solution, I’m able to things on the basic level.

Thank you

Thank you. I haven’t seen this before. It seems, I’m on a good way now.

Also, yesterday AlexxIT released new features for his go2rtc project.
Now it is possible to use different input and output devices as components for WyomingSat.
