Lumary Smart Fans on Local Tuya Integration

Hi, I’m trying to integrate my Lumary Smart Fans ( https://a.co/d/egDqN81 ) with the Local Tuya Integration, but for some weird reason, either the Home Assistant is Discovering the Fans, or it’s allowing me to add it manually.

If trying to use the Cloud Based Tuya, it works, bot no success with the Local Tuya. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Just so you know, it’s required the Tuya 3.5 to control this specific fans

Did you ever get this working? I am trying to do the same thing.

Hello,

I have 2 of these same fans and just setup Home Assistant.

Just to get some clarification I would go to add “Integrations” and search for Tuya?
Does this fan need to be on Smarthings for this to work? Currently I have it only in the Lumary app because I couldn’t get it to connect to Smartthings.
Any guidance is appreciated.

Yeah, you need to get TUYA LOCAL instead of LOCAL TUYA. It’s available on HACS. From there you will have the option to select the 3.5 Version of the tuya protocol.

It’s a little more complicated than that, I recommend you watch this tutorial:

Update - after completely restarting HA, it was able to connect. I put in a request for the device to be added along with all the required info, so hopefully we’re can get full device functionality.

I haven’t had any luck getting it to add. It’s showing the device but it can’t connect. It’s not listed in the supported devices. Anyone have any success adding it?
