Using the core integration, trying to determine why some devices are lights and others are switches? I have many switches but the device in one instance appears as a light.den.pots vs switch.kitchen.pots
Can anyone suggest where/why and can this be changed?
did your lights and switches come with a Unique ID? i just added Ra2 to HASSIO and my lights can not be added to rooms due to them not having a Unique ID.

no unique ID, came in with a Lutron ID. Unsure how to assign a room.
Anyone figure this out? It’s a pita. Wondering if RadioRa2 select has the same limitation. I went with non-select as I had a couple places I really needed one of the fancy keypads but may abandon those if going to select works better
can you post more details? I’ve got about every RA2 device available and I don’t have this problem.
