I have 2 LXP without problems, there is some entities that are only created for master inverter when they are in parallel mode.
I managed to get it to work by adding an entity prefix to the second inverter.
My setup is 2 stand alone units and not hooked up in parallel.

Hi all, I have my luxpower inverters talking to home assistant. I have my zappi car charger talking to home assistant and an automation that recognises when the car is charging and notifies me.
What I need to do next is find a way to tell the inverter to start charging the batteries when the automation says the car is charging and stop the inverter charging when the car stops charging. I couldn’t find a setting in the HA luxpower page to do that. Does anyone know if there’s a ‘start quick charge’ and ‘stop quick charge’ option as there is in the luxpower app?
I might be just looking in the wrong place but I couldn’t find a way to do this. Thanks.
There is the quick charge switch, it will start charge on inverter and the inverter set quick charge time to 60 (and start a count down). You can change this time to make charge for longer/smaller time (I use this also to keep the battery on 100% to calibrate batteries).
To stop you can turn off the switch or wait the count down.
I’ve been through my setup looking for that switch but can’t see it anywhere. I’ve also checked through the disabled settings and can’t see it in there either.
You are using the integration that is referenced in this Thread ?
What version ?
By default it is enabled :
I’m an idiot, sorry, I’m using Guy’s integration, completely missed that there were two of them. Thanks for pointing it out. If I can’t get it working with the one I’m currently using I’ll load this one and try it.
Many thanks.
Ok, I now have swapped to using this integration instead of the other one, configured it and can see the data correctly.
I set the quick charge switch to ‘on’ but it did nothing. It said it had made the switch in the activity display in the integration but no change happened on the inverter. When I set it to ‘off’ it also did nothing other than tell me that in the activity.
If I set the quick charge to ‘on’ in the luxpower app, the batteries start charging and the activity in the integration shows the following for starting and stopping the charge via the quick charge switch in the luxpower app:
20 January 2026
AC Charging End Time 2 changed to 0:00
11:46:12 - 9 minutes ago
AC Charging Start Time 2 changed to 0:00
11:46:12 - 9 minutes ago
Inverter State changed to Battery Discharging to Load - Surplus Exporting to Grid
11:46:12 - 9 minutes ago
AC Charging End Time 2 changed to 12:44
11:45:01 - 10 minutes ago
AC Charging End Time 2 changed to 12:44
11:45:01 - 10 minutes ago
AC Charging Start Time 2 changed to 11:44
11:45:01 - 10 minutes ago
Any suggestions on how to make the quick charge switch do what I want?
Thanks.
There are more than one switch about charge
in my case from integration there are 3 switches
“Half Hour AC Charge Start” does nothing
“Quick Charge Start” charges for one hour
“AC Charge” starts charging without visible time control
from web
“Start Quick Charge” button initiate charge and I see the change on “AC Charge” switch
I can stop the charging locally but web interface button still show a countdown.
Have you tested the 3 switches ?
Apparently the behaviour depends of inverter model and installed firmware version. That is probably the reason the web interface does not use the inverter quick charge of my inverter.
Integration just sets the values based on Luxpower modbus documentation. Luxpower do not provide information about what is supported by specific models.
Thanks very much, I’ll try the other switches and see if that works.
I finally got around to installing this but I haven’t quite got it sorted I don’t think. I have a pair of Squirrelpods (LXP36000) in parallel. Now, I had to get them running using the small block option and I also did them read-only for now but they connect and create. The issue I am having is it only seems to have created sensors on one of the units. Therefore I am only seeing, for example, half the solar generation. You can see that the number of entities is way bigger on one inverter and in some cases a lot of the devices have none - look at the two PV devices:
Any thoughts on what I can do to get the full reading?
I seem to be having similar issues. I have added this to home assistant and the quick charge toggle does nothing in Home Assistant. I have also tried the half hour ac charge start and this doesn’t do anything. Can anyone help with this?
I am trying to automate when Octopus Intelligent Go charges my car I want my inverter to charge as well so it doesn’t discharge my home battery into my car.
