I upgraded my system from a Pi4 to an NUC. Within three weeks, the M.2 SSD failed from bad sectors. It was a Kingston 256 GB A2000 drive. I now bought a WD Black 500GB (all Best Buy had in stock). I read terrible reviews about it. What is a better drive to use? A NAS drive?
I use for 2 years now a msata SSD from Wish 32GB for 20 euro.

I had to move away from the Pi because I use a zwave usb stick and a zigbee usb stick and the USB ports on the Pi caused problems. The NUC was smooth sailing until the SSD went bad.
