Our son had this idea that he would always stop brushing his teeth exactly at 2 minute mark.
And sometimes the last seconds was mostly looking at the display to make sure he didn’t exceed 2 minutes.
So… I made it a game.
A remote selects who is brushing the teeth, the toothbrush (oral b) sends the data via bluetooth and I capture this and adds it to a helper which is reset weekly.
The scoreboard is displayed on the inside of the bathroom cupboard using an ESL tag and OpenEPaperlink.
Now all I need to do is to make sure I brush me teeth slightly more than him and he is motivated to beat me.
