Making an automation to go to a Dashboard

So I am looking for a way to setup an automation to go to a particular dashboard. The reason I am looking for this is that I have a dashboard that has a calendar tab and a kids chores tab. If my kids choose the chores tab I want to automate going back to the calendar tab automatically.

I was thinking that the automation would run every 5 mins or so, so that it will always display the calendar part of the dashboard.

I tried just making a button panel that’s action was to go to the dashboard but I have no clue on how to automate the button. When I go into the automation part of Home Assistant I cannot find the button in the action button press part, if that makes sense.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From my understanding the answer is no. It’s a browser destination issue.

Check out Browser Mod which has an option that may work.

Automations are things that run independent of the UI (i.e. in the background).

Besides the suggestion above, there are also a number of browser plugins/extensions that can do this (for Chrome at least).
