Hey,
I am trying to make our EV car charge at the same amount of Watts as my solar panels have too much. I found this for the lolo 3

I am already using the nodeRed API for shell recharge listed here

I made the API start charging if the solar panels have enough watts. But since in a few years the netting arrangement (salderingsregeling) will be stopped and I want to use all of the power generated by my solar panels because this will save a lot of money. My EV charger is not smart but i want to make it. Does anyone have any idea if i can make it smart by software or should i build a esp32 or raspberry pi inside of the charger to emulate values, or do you know a different approach. I will update my own progress over here and keep you updated. Hoping someone already has something similar working.

Update:

I have tried connecting the EV charger to my laptop via ethernet, it kept saying "connected’ but no ip address was found, i figured i might need to connect it to my router so it gets assigned an IP address but it didnt show up in the router either. Tried both ethernet ports on the charger but neither work.
