OK I used to use MaryTTS is it does not depend on the cloud. Atfter several HA updates. (I am running HA OS 15.2 and core 2025.4.2)/ The automatons dosn’t speak. any more while cloud base like Google Translate does. Thoughts. I man I do haveTTSwhile I have connectivity
I see from the docs that there are only two active installations. If you have one of them… well, it may be time to look for an alternative. 
Pico TTS is one, though it’s a bit robotic.
Should have said… I believe there’s a bug in Pico such that messages between 16 and 32 characters come out as gibberish. The workaround is to pad the message out with punctuation.
