I bought the OzSmartThings double Matter GPO
I got the device included using these instructions to set everything up (some confusion as I thought it was a thread device - its not its Wifi )
Anyway I scanned the QR Code and it all jjoined but it came in as a light switch, also no power monitoring
The response from the cpmpany is "Matter GPO and Matter light switch currently use the same Matter device profile/software"
Is this the OzSmartThings company error? That is, are they referring to their "Matter GPO" and their "Matter light switch" or is this a common Matter problem?
Is their a way to fix this? - I know I can swap to switch it but it's a light so their is no helper to swap to switch and I'd have to follow a guide - but I dont think this will get the power monitoring.

Overall I'm pretty disappointed with them, Their website has lots of stuff about ths matter GPO being matter and so better - but wtith no mention of the problems that they know about - I doubt I will buy their products again as they cant be trusted to be fully open

Probably the best thing would be to go to your Matter Server App/AddOn (not Integration) and pull up the Web UI for the Matter Server and then select the Matter GPO and see what "endpoints" it has. Post the results and maybe it will reveal the issue. In the past, vendors would develop customized endpoints for energy monitoring which only the vendor's app could decipher.

For what it’s worth i have several Aqara Switches, which turns up as “ Lights ”

To “Show as Switch” You create a Template-Helper > Template-Switch

When done, You Click visibility on your “Light-Entity” and choose Hide ( It will show under the new Switch, and you can actually “reference” Both Entities

Whether Your Power/Energy entities will show, i can’t tell for Your Device, My Aqara Shows W & kWh

In Actions your obvious Point to your light entity ( Turn on/off light ) ( which you then can hide )
