Matter Light Switches: Inovelli White vs. Kasa KS205

I am in the process of planning out upgrades for my new house, and want to go with an all Matter / Thread solution if possible. The main device I am investigating at the moment is light switches.

Looking at prior discussions, I see the Inovelli White is the champion of Matter devices. However, in recent months, TP Link has released their Kasa switches.

The price difference is significant - almost $40 per switch. Is the Inovelli that much better (or the Kasa that much worse) that it's worth that price difference for every switch in the house?

From what I can tell, the Kasa offering is Matter over wifi, not Matter over Thread. Comparing the two is not exactly apples-to-apples.....
