Matter Not Found - Might be my mdns with multivlans

I’m running multiple vlans on my network and from maybe what I found it could be that my mdns is not routing from my home assistant vlan to my wifi vlan.

So wondering to make it easier can I just add a wifi nic to my server?

Running Home Assistant OS on a NUC PC so have the ports. Just wanted to confirm that having multiple I can use the wired nic as my management and general usage and the wireless can be used for the matter.

mDNS used packets that are not routable with standard IP routing.

When you use VLANs you really need to understand the protocols that are used and especially the ones that needs routing.
Not all protocols are routable with standard IP routing.

Yea normally I should be able to setup mdns routing. I just have gotten fed up because I’m using two different manufactures for my network and both are showing mdns setup.

So instead of me spending hours with their support I wanted to just bridge the vlans within home assistant.

VLANs is used to segregated/segment networks. Bridging negates tge basic idea of VLANs.
