Hi. I have a (two, actually) Google Nest Thermostat. It is NOT a learning thermo.
I am a newcomer to Matter and don’t really understand it…
I’m running HA in a docker container; and added another container with the Matter (server? i guess it’s called).
I added the Matter integration to my HA and added my two thermostats by entering the many-digit code displayed on the device(s).
That apparently works.
I see that I can change temp, and change mode (heat / cool / etc).
Is it true that I can’t control the fan? (I mean directly, irrespective of running heat/cool). In the google home app i can e.g. turn on fan for 15, 30, 45 minutes, etc.
Or is there some hidden/secret settings somewhere? this is what i see on my dashboard:
