Matter Server Docker Container on Synology NAS / Home Assistant Core

FYI I just pushed it to GitHub coz why not, GitHub - astubbs/ipv6-route-listener: Listens for IPv6 router advertisements and updates the OS with them, for Linux distros where the Kernel doesn't do this (i.e. Synology DSM)

@psynikal Thanks for posting the container on github… But I need more help.
I’m on a synology running docker for everything.

I just set out to refurbish a SLZB-06M as a Matter over Thread PoE coordinator. (Is that the term? whatever)
I think the matter-server container is up… but, I’m under the impression that I need to get OTBR / openthread/border-router docker container working as well. I get all kinds of firewall errors in that container’s logs… I have no idea what my docker-compose file should look like for OTBR. Does anyone have any working samples? Ideally from a Synology as that seems to be the weak link here.

Thanks everyone!

Thank you, works perfect. I can finally use my Echo as TBR.

Thank you for this. I've been struggling for days getting matter devices to pair in both HomeAssistant as well as Homey SHS. Running this container resulted in instant pairing.
