I have a ton of pico’s and love them generally, but I have one now at the far end of a house that is just barely beyond reach. I put in a fresh battery - no change. Oddly this worked before and nothing moved, but it is what it is…
I could buy a new caseta hub, or try moving it around (more than likely then breaking something at the other end of the house).
Or… I have two Thread border routers, and so far good luck with matter/thread devices.
Are there any matter/thread equivalents? Something similar to a light switch but battery powered?
I’m aware of shelly ble buttons (too small, don’t look like a switch), and a bazillion in-wall, requires power switches of all flavors. I’ve seen some zigbee and z-wave ones, but do not have zigbee, and really want to start shifting to matter if I can. And I’ve seen some that don’t appear available in the US.
Anyone know of any US available ones with some track record? That look like a light switch (at least mostly)?
