Thank you - I had used the GUI to add the entities but hadn’t realised that adding all the Music Assistant entities was what was required - which is why I’d added the ma_entity_id in YAML. Thanks for your help - Search has now appeared!

Hi, I like your cards and they already have a fix place in my dashboard.
There is one thing, where I haven’t found a solution yet.
There are radio-stations in MA (streaming from Radio-Browser) which do not share a logo, therefore I have added the station manually to MA and added a logo, which works fine in MA.
But this logo is not forwarded to the player cards. (to be honest, this is also with other cards.)
Is there a way to set a kind of default cover-art for a specific radio-station inside your cards?

I’m afraid its probably not something i can fix if other cards dont show them either.
Do they show in the media browser (not the mediocre one by the HA one)?

Last release introduced translations. If you want the card translated to your language reach out on Github discussions. No coding skills required.

Great card. 2 questions. Is there a way to have all of the grouped speakers show all of the time, and is there a way to force the order they are listed in. Right now they only show if I click on the speaker icon, and they are listed in alphabetical order.
Right now it’s a no to both questions, but please do add your ideas to the discussions on Github. It’s easier for me to look through suggestions there, especially because I can sort by votes. For that reason it’s also best to seperate it into two discussions so each can be voted on.
Both are reasonable requests btw, there’s just a lot of other requests also, and limited time to work on it, so it’s nice to get a gauge on what people want.

Hi friend! First of all thanks a lot for making this beautiful card and sharing with all of us. I’m quite new to home assistant and I like this card a lot and wanted to suggest a new feature if possible. I’m using it with nvidia shield and the integration is not so good so most of the times will not send back the artcover to HA, so I would like to hide the icon and/or at least the gray square around it if possible when there is no returned artcover from the device. I already try to edit the js file but with no luck, hehe

I understand your request. The card layout right now is sort of depending on the art being there. The main fucus for these cards is music playback, and there it’s fairly rare for artwork to be missing. If you want it to be transparent I actually think you can assign a picture to your media player which will be used as fallback when no artwork is there. Just find a transparent PNG.
It would leave a big empty space though.

Absolutely loving the card. Ive got it on my hall dashboard using a layout card, However ocasionally when certain music comes on with a bigger image it increases the size of the card beyond its grid layout. Is there a way to lock the pixel width of the card and shrink the album art. Using the massive player by the way. Works great with MA and sendspin players and speaker groups. Changed the way i can listen to music around the house. Thanks!

This card is awesome. Everything I need to get all the functionality of my various music apps into my HA dashboard. I’m having one issue which is odd and is keeping me from committing fully to this:
I have 3 different media players (WiiMs) that I am trying to group. I can add one and it will group fine with the master, but as soon as I click on a second one, it drops the first and replaces it. So I can only group two speakers at a time.
Strangely, if I group all 3 via another card or the WiiM app, they will all show as grouped, I just can’t do it via this card. Is that the intended behavior?
Can you make an issue on Github? This one might take a bit of back and forth and it’ll get confusing in this thread.
But no, thats not intended. They’re probably doing things a bit differently that the others (yamaha, Sonos, music assistant etc).

The integration I’m using claims to use “native home assistant grouping” if that helps (it’s not the built in integration, I’ll link the repo in my issue)

Little bit of a lag now grouping but I am fine with that to have it work. Allows me to eliminate an extra card.

Hello Everyone
I just published a new beta. This one has some pretty big new things.
LMS (lyrion) features
If you specify a lms_entity_id you can now transfer queue between speakers.
If you install the lyrion_cli integration (from hacs) you can now see the active queue and reorder it.
Music Assistant queue
If you install the mass_queue integration (from hacs) you can now see the active queue and reorder it.
There’s also a completely redone system for using art colors. It now looks at your theme variables, matches the lightness and saturation of them, and changes the hue to the artwork color. This means the art colors option now should fit much better with all the different themes out there.
Want to browse and search multiple media players? Maybe you want browse both Music Assistant, but also your video library. Well now you can add multiple search entries and you can also add multiple media browser entries.
… and a bunch of little fixes all around.

Not right now. The playlist is a part of the media player cards.
