I apologize if this has already been discussed previously.
I have a Meross Garage Door Opener (Model MSG100) that came with the house and is approximately 10+ years old.
Recently, I noticed the garage door has been opening on its own without any action from us. We did not use the app or press any remote-control buttons. In addition, the door is no longer automatically closing after 15 minutes as expected.
So far, I have tried the following troubleshooting steps:
- Power-cycled the unit
- Uninstalled and reinstalled the app
- Changed my account password
- Configured app notifications after 8:00 PM if the garage door is left open
Unfortunately, the issue still persists.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have recommendations on additional troubleshooting steps? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
