Meross MS600 Presence Sensor Slow Response Since 2026 Upgrade

I’ve been using the Meross MS600 presence sensor with MerossLAN for about a year and since the 2026 upgrade, the response time has been atrocious. I’ll walk into the kitchen and grab a plate and microwave it and walk out of the kitchen to eat and THEN the light turns on. It turns off after no motion for the appropriate time that I coded in the automation but turning on is at best, a mostly useless function.

Has anyone else noticed similar things happening? I couldn’t find a reference to this in my search.

I have other simple motion sensors around tha house that work perfectly and those are Zigby devices but the MEross devices are connected via LAN. There have not been any changes to my LAN in over 2 years. No new devices or services so I’m at a loss as to what’s happening.

Any thoughts?

I’m experiencing the same problem, but I think that the problem is coming from the sensor. I’m checking on the app (not in Hass), and at this moment, the sensor is detecting presence after more than 15 minutes with no presence in the room.

Damn! I was hoping to avoid having to replace it but it’s essentially useless right now.
