Hello everybody,
i am trying to replace my old SIEDLE intercom on garden wall to something SIP-like to integrate in HA.
What are my circumstances:
- a lot of cables from existing SIEDLE intercom already coming out nearby my HA Host
- i bought an USB-Soundcard to connect Speaker and Mic to HA Host
- ssh „ha audio info“ showes audio sound card correctly
- a have a sensor on ring button already integrated in HA. So start trigger already exists.
Target: If somebody rings, i want to get a SIP call to 3 devices (2 mobiles with companion app and 1 Tablet with Wall Panel App) and talk to the „ringer“
Right now i am trying out SIP-HASS.
**But i don‘t have a clue how to use Speaker/Mic connected to HA Host OS as SIP client **
Googling around only shows examples where clients mic over browser is used.
Can anybody give me a hint?
I was looking around for Pulse audio, but i am struggling to understand docs.
If i cannot find a solution, i‘d try a DoorPi Pi as next step.
Maybe somebody has another ideas.
Best regards,
haggel
