Microinverter for homeassistant

Hello,

my balcony power station (Sunlit BK215) can be operated with the following microinverters:

DEYE G3 and G4 microinverters: power ranges from 600W to 2000W.

AP-System EZ1-M microinverter: rated power from 600W to 800W.

Hoymiles microinverters (DTU version): see Inverter Overview - OpenDTU Documentation for supported models.

Note: only battery compatible models have been tested so far:

Hoymiles HM-600-2T

Hoymiles HM-800-2T

Hoymiles HMS-600-2T

Hoymiles HMS-800-2T

TSUN microinverters: currently only the G3 model whose serial number starts with ‘Y’.

Which one works well with homeassistant? Does anyone from you use one of them?

Best regards

Tony

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum!

Good that you are checking before getting it.
Your starting point could be Integrations - Home Assistant (if you haven’t done so already)
Also, typical for adding devices to HA is to do some searching, and of course, asking here.

Depends on what you want to achieve, I guess. I have a Hoymiles HMS-800-2T and as stated, they can be used with OpenDTU, which in turn can use MQTT to get the data into HA.

So, data only. If I want to change anything, I’ll go via OpenDTU’s web interface.
