@HausmeisterDE, I can only say that you should try the core integration and if not working open a issue with debug log so I and @rokam can take a look why and fix it.
Thanks you’re correct! After removing the HACS integration my cube now works
I am wondering about the “LAN” part of the new integration: Midea AC LAN connects locally. The Midea integrations asks me for cloud credentials:
Why does it need cloud credentials? In my network the AC is not allowed to talk to the internet (because it should not need to). The communication works perfectly fine in the old Midea AC LAN integration. Am I missing something about the local part?
Midea core integration is fully local.
It needs a cloud connection only once to retrieve the token and key for that device.
If you have them already (for example from the old custom), you can use the manual configuration instead of the discovery.
Thanks!
I was able to configure the devices manually with the values from
jq -r '.data.entries[] | select(.domain=="midea_ac_lan") | {title, data}' config/.storage/core.config_entries
Goodmoning.
All working perfect but the ac unit’s wifi led keeps randomly flashing as if if tries to reconnect all the time.
Possible conflit between the Smart home App?
Thanks Russell
Hi All
I’m new in HA. I installed it as container in my QNAP and seems work quite good except for MIDEA integration.
I tried with standard MIDEA integration, but no devices are discovered.
Then I tried with MIDEA AC LAN, same result.
The only inbtegration that is working is MIDEA AUTO CLOUD, but I don’t like too much because it requires internet and current temperature is not working.
When I try to add the MIDEA HEAT PUMP with MIDEA integration, I have following messages
Is there anyone can help me ?
If I look to the states, I can see that current temperature for hot water (boiler ) is ok, while the current temperature for fancoil is not (current_temperature: null)
hello everyone, i just tried the new midea integration and there is a lot of stuff that my ac unit does not have. and compared to the old integration its a bit chaotic if thats the correct term (non english speaker here). The old midea ac lan integration on the other hand seems to organize entities better with everything the machine has, and what it doesnt have it didnt show up like oszilitation setting. with the new one it shows up. the same was with the other midea integration from Bogojevic, which also showed stuff that machine doesnt have.
should i open an issue on github?
Can anybody tell me if this works with the latest Midea Solstice models? (EZ-09RD6) I’m only going to order one if it will work and getting some slightly mixed feedback in searching.
Yes please open an issue on GitHub; we need model and submodel.
If you can please download LUA (instructions above)
When i use the iletcomfort app to control my midea heatpump how do i download the token and key? i do not see dollin server as an option anywhere.
