Miele Integration failed due to Error in Nabu Casa

Hello,
I try to add my Washing-Maschine to HA, but it fails during Setup:
I Added it in the Mobile-App → Everything is ok
I add a new device in HA (using the build-in Miele-Integration), which leads me to:
https://api.mcs3.miele.com/thirdparty/login?client_id=
where I enter my Credentials from the Mobile App.
Next I get a Window from the Miele-Page asking me to grad HomeAssistant Access to my Devices. I accept that and get to a Site called:
Nabu Casa Account Link
Where the Error-Message

Oops... an error occured

Unexpected response Service Temporarily Unavailable

comes up. Yes, it says “temporarly” but it is there the whole Weekend so far.

Has anybody an Idea what the Problem might be?

I just had the same problem.
but for some strange reason it works now, what I did:

after I got the error, I clicked back, it again asked for my credentials. After the retry suddenly it worked.

Wow, that’s crazy!! That worked for me too. Thank you very much!!

BTW: I had to click back twice! First back=give access to the App, second back-click=Credentials-Window. You have to go back to that Windows (as Info for other People with the same Problem)

I am still encountering the same error despite several attempts to install the Miele app and integration. When I log in with a different country, the message “Account connection failed” appears, which shows that the login generally works. However, as soon as I select my actual country, I receive the error message “Oops… an error occurred…”. Repeated attempts unfortunately do not change this. No messages appear in the log.

I have the same issue, hitting back works, adds “Home Assistand Cloud” hub to the Miele integration but no appliances appear.

Same problem for me, going back and pressing allow still comes up with the same error “Oops… an error occured” anyone had any luck with this or any ideas what to try?

I had the same issue, I found logging into the miele account there was some further info they wanted and once that was done, the linking worked.

I kept trying clicking back and it just went on and on in circles.
I think I tried going back (twice clicking back to log in) about 8 times…

Every time it would go to the login page, browser would offer to translate it. I usually ignored that.

As soon as I marked “never translate this site” and logged in - it just worked.

MAYBE it was a coincidence, but is worth a shot.

Same problem as OP here, none of the suggestions here worked for me. Had a message regarding Nabu Casa not knowing my adress because they didn’t here about my HA for too long (sth about more than 15 mins), but that came only once. I’m not using Nabu Casa Cloud

Having the same issue here, the integration stopped working a few days ago and it now will not reconnect. Tried all of the above but with no success. Maybe there are more people getting this?

Adding my experience as well, as I’m getting the same error message that the service is temporarily unavailable… None of the workarounds are working for me.

My Miele integration was working fine until a couple of days ago. Now I get the error “Config flow could not be loaded: 500 Internal Server Error got itself into trouble”

Has anyone else had this issue?

Same here :frowning:

Are you using hacs integration and the core one ? You have to remove the hacs miele inegration deprecated

Yes, that was it. Having removed the HACS integration and restarted HA, it automatically detected the Miele devices and ran me through the set up for the core integration. All working now - after updating all the changed sensor names.

After removing miele from hacs it didn’t work > Error in Nabu Casa. But i found this and it was the solution for me:

I installed the Miele app on my phone and there I went to:
Profile->Profile settings->Partner Apps

There was an entry for Home Assistant, which I deleted.
After this step I was able to complete the Auth step and integrate Miele in Home assistant.

Worked for me!

I also ran into this. In my case, it was down to two things:

  1. I used to use Home Assistant Cloud (Nabu Casa), but no longer do. However, I was still signed in. Go to Settings > Home Assistant Cloud and then log out from there.

  2. I needed to specify my internet-facing hostname in Settings > System > Network.

After making those changes and restarting Home Assistant (Settings > System and then the power icon in the top right), it authenticated first time.

Hope this helps!

Chris

I am in the same boat. Removed the HACS integration, removed Partner Apps from the Miele Account, acknowledged the Data Security Changes in my Miele Profile, have a working Nabu Casa / Home Assistant Cloud setup but no luck on my side - everything I try ends in the “Ups” error message :frowning:
