I finally found some reasonably priced rPi CM4 modules ( I mean not 10 times the normal price), to outfit my HA Yellow which I have had for months. I will say the installation was not as straightforward as it might have been.
Right now my concern is to move my Docker installation to the HA Yellow which I assume is running the supervised installation. The computer wheels are spinning right now ‘restoring’ a backup of my Docker installation to the HA Yellow. I have no idea if this is going to work. Researching the migration has led me to innumerable opinions by a long list of geeks as to why the supervisor version is not as good as the container version but little about anyone who has actually performed the migration. I thought having the supervised version would give me the tools that are not available in the container version.
Is the supervised version as unstable as some claim? There appears to be a way to include some of the tools available in supervised version as separate Docker containers as well as running in virtual environments on rPiOS.
