Migrating from SmartThings to Synology for ZWave and Zigbee

I’m running Home Assistant as a virtual machine on a synology, which is located in my basement. I have a SmartThings hub located on the first floor and leverage the integration for zigbee and zwave devices. I’d like to eliminate SmartThings and connect everything directly to synology.

I’d like to use HA’s ZBT-2 and ZWA-2. I don’t have the ability to move the Synology to a central location. Can I connect those two antenna’s directly to the synology or is there a device I can place in a central location, connect to HA via wifi and plug the antennas into them?

Zwa2 can be made to work over WiFi and Ethernet/POE is possible. Zwavjsui can be run on raspberry pi (in docker) as well and HA can connect to that.

Zigbee to mqtt has docker container I believe.

Long USB (usb balun) is an option as well. Direct to PC may also be just fine.
