So, I am still working on all of the HA settings and configurations. Not totally a newbie but I have some questions:
- I am moving from ISY (lack of reasonable help in getting a simple device firmware image to start over is one of the main drivers).
- I currently have about 60 Insteon switches.
- I have installed 5 Inovelli switches (and aux and fan) (white series)
Here are the questions:
- Is it possible to add the inovelli to my energy dashboard? I like the energy usage stats.
- Is it possible to create a dashboard for the inovelli temperature from the switches?
- I have had no problems quickly picking up the YAML programming. I would assume I can surface the automations to connect the Insteon to the Inovelli and Inovelli to the Insteon. Does anyone have this working? (I would suspect this will be temporary for me as I transition switches over.)
- How long has Inovelli been working on the multi-button pads? Seems like a while. What are other matter/thread keypads that could be used?
- I am connected to homekit for voice activations. Are there any good suggestions for using HA to manage all of the bridged instances to voice control so they match. ie Turn on kitchen lights vs turn on kitchen cans, etc.
- Are there any suggestions on how to handle a “whole home” area over the top of each room or area in a house? I would like to encapsulate the entire home and put the floors within that home.
Sorry for the length here. I have a lot integrated and it is going well. I am seeing how far I can push HA.
