I’m thinking of buying a complete RP5 to run HA. I have close to no experience with setting HA and none with RP yet and are running HA now on VMWare on a Win11 laptop.
Can I easily copy or move the setup from VMWare to RP5 or do I need to start all over from scratch again? So should I pause my experiment on HA till I have the RP or not …?

skip the rpi go minipc waaaaay better price/performance curve. Like WAY better.

Your comment about minipc maybe true but I also want to experment with RPI as a learning project. So therfore … 
But thanks for the hint, now have to figure out how to make a backup (and a LOT of other things regarding Linux and PRI and …).
I’d strongly suggest you reconsider that and find another rpi starter project m you’ll end up spending more money for a way less capable piece of hardware. It’s not the deal it used to be and from an operating perspective identical.
Other than that. I also urge you to seek pi 5 here on the site and get to know all the current issues.
Basically yeah I hear you and it really is that big of a difference you will kick yourself
