Missing Nodes after upgrading palette

Hi,

I have an issue after upgrading the palette

Some nodes are missing

I only have those two blocks :upside_down_face:

I tried to uninstall the add-on and install it again but nodes are missing again …

Do you have an idea how to solve my problem ?

Hello,

is someone could help me with this issue ?

Instead of removing the add-on, try to remove the nodes (hamburger menu at the top right of the screen > Manage pallete > scroll to node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket) and remove it. Then, restart the addon and try to readd it.

If all that fails, you can run NodeRed by itself on a Pi or another computer and see if you can get them to install there and/or do a command line install.

Thank you for your reply.

When I try to delete the node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket I have this message

Failed to remove: node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket
Type in use: server
Check the log for more information

I use Hassio so I can’t access to command line :sleepy:

Where ever you have those nodes in use, delete them. Worse comes to worse, export your flows to a separate file (hamburger menu > export > all flows (at the top) and then hit download) and delete all your flows.

Then, try to remove the nodes again, restart the addon and try to re-add them. Should all that work, you can import the file you just generated and not lose any of your flows.

Hi,

issue solved.

I had to remove the addon and delete the node-red directory

Thank you @code-in-progress for your help
