Hello, Im new to HA. I have done some refurbishments in my appartment to add smart switch for door shutters as was missing wire 0. I have installed switch breakers on switchboard DIN rail, smart switches for the lights, fans and sensors.
In the beggining all of them have been controlled by smart life app. then I have moved to some other apps.
Few days ago I have integrate all devices into HA and start exploring. I want to add some features like home overlay map, some interactive dashboard which I have found on youtube, but /i am missing additional options on menu bar. While I follow instructions, once I clock on PEN in Dashobard, I am not getting any additional options like on the wideo tutorial.
Tell us what video you are trying to follow and what options you are expecting to see.
But chances are if you are following a video over 6 months old will be leading in a direction no longer available. HA moves on fast and things change a lot.
Oh and nothing can be seen in that picture you posted, the resolution is far too small.
As being new to forum, I am not able to upload more than one picture. Picture has been imported on postimages in 4k - 8mpx, but forum reduces it

So you still haven't told us what you are expecting to see, but adding cards has changed in the last update of HA. So as suggested following this video will not go as expected. If you want to get to the selecting cards panel in the video, select add card and then in the right hand panel you will see "browse all cards" click that.

The biggest tip I can give you is read the docs before watching and following videos you will then no doubt be able to understand things that may have changed.

For now I want to create map of my home. By following youtube tutorial, link above I am not able to see options in my menu bar so I can move on forward. I have different, post no 5, while on youtube tutorial has more option. How to get that options so I can import picture and create home.
yes, thats correct. So far I am running server from PC, I have ordered HA green.
I have follow that video, and I am not getting opetion in menu bar like on video
Did you create a new dashboard? The overview dashboard will not allow you to do this as its auto generated. This again has changed in the last 6 months or so, which explains why I suggest reading the docs.
I have done it but I didn't have it that option. I guess, I am not sure. Now I have it. Thanks
I have one more problem.
I have doors shutter. All of them are showing open if closed and opposite.
I have follow instructions - created Template Cover Helper, changed to both of the options

What is wire 0? Where did it go? Did you back it up? Can you restore it from a previous backup?
Are you residing in the southern hemisphere? No, this apparent aberrant activity is not related to The Coriolis Effect and which way bathwater rotates as it drains in each hemisphere, but is a common question raised here in these forums.
