Unfortunately, it doesn't work. If I understand correctly, the initial magic packet is different than for HVAC.
You are correct… Not just magic but the whole protocol is slightly different
It’s split:
Air to Water
Air to Air
Lossnay and Chillers
In case anyone is interested, I have added support for Lossnay control via local CN105 in MitsubishiCN105ESPHome:
I built a packet sniffer and reverse engineered the protocol. I have now ditched the cloud integration and am controlling my Lossnay locally. Feedback or requests are welcome.
Hey there, I am interested on this integration from you since I received feedback from Mitsubishi that for my Lossnay VL-250 they will no longer have WiFi support and that the new MAC 597 and the new MelCould Home do not support Lossnay devices.
I saw that there was an issue with the merge to the main branch for your PR, will you be able to look at this? Would be interesting if we can have this feature available to more people.
Thanks for the reverse engineering, I will provide feedback if it works on vl-250 as soon as I have my Lossnay assembled.
