So I just got a wearos device. A mobvoi ticwatch pro 5. Long story had a used pro 3, stopped working. It seems now mobvoi maybe might stop selling the watches and that wearos is declining overall?
But I just realized that it’s an android os for your wrist and can’t believe I didn’t discover this sooner, I mean I can use everything in my apartment on home assistant via this watch and even have Google voice installed for making and receiving wifi calls and texts.
My phone even bridges it into 5ghz wifi networks with a wifi tethering app.
I’m surprised it’s not more popular and that mobvoi would stop selling the watches. I even use it at work because they don’t realize it’s a smart watch with the layered display that just looks like an eighth segment display calculator screen.
Is there something that works better than wearos that I’m missing?
