Ok, so I’m going around in circles here and various Google searches for BRT-100/HA aren’t really getting me anywhere
I picked up a Hoes BRT-100 Zigbee TRV to test before buying a load of the for the house. Powered up, let it do its thing doing a self test, held the - button down for 3s to enter pairing mode, got it paired to HA, shows up as a device along with a few Zigbee light switches I have. All good so far.
However, when I add the card to my default dashboard, I get the reported temp from the TRV, I can modify the set point (all the way up to 300C which might be a smidge excessive!) then after about 5s it snaps back to the set point manually set on the TRV itself. I can change the temp on the TRV using the +/- touch buttons and after a few secs, the new temp is reported in HA as expected.
Some other oddities occur with this TRV: The switch doesn’t appear to do anything. The operation mode is stuck in Heat, clicking the option only shows Heat, no other mode. The preset shows None, Away, Eco, Boost, Temporary Manual - all of which appear to do nothing.
Anyone clueful enough to figure out why these apparently popular TRVs are problematic when setting them up? (I also appear to not see various other options in the TRV like Child Lock mode et al)

I had similar problems. Setting “Preset” to “manual” seemed to fix it from what I remember.
