Setup: Raspberry Pi 4 HA OS setup with Sonoff Zigbee v3 Dongle (latest flash update) and my 25 other devices are all* playing nice together (mixture of plugs and sensors). Zigbee2MQTT working fine with other devices.
I was excited to see the Moes Garage Door Opener module. It is exactly what I was wanting… except it is spamming (1-3 packets per SECOND) the zigbee network while just sitting there idle (log excerpt below).
I looked in Z2M under “reporting” to see if I could set reporting / polling intervals but there just wasn’t a cluster or attribute that seemed to have that as an option.
Has anyone resolved this?
I have it reboxed now ready to RMA it. (But I can quickly test something)
Any other garage door modules like this I should go with?
*“ALL”: My only other misbehaving devices is another Moes product, a 2-gang in-wall switch (Zigbee). It randomly decides to drop and rejoin the network and then works and then does that again. I am RMA’ing that in favor of a Matter-Wifi 2-gang in-wall switch. I think I need to just give up on Moes.
