I have several UPS units that are not connected to a computer to monitor their status.
An esp32 device might be the perfect low cost way to report the status of a UPS to Home assistant.
Most UPS’s have a USB port used for that function.
Many esp32 devices have built in USB ports.
This might be a nice component to add to the ESPhome family.
