Interesting, when I went to look at parameter 46 is shows the current temperature of 66 but the app still shows 68.
I am probably going to install the Honeywell T6.
The video showed parameter 46 at 68. Did you change it since then?
I think I would too. Seems like your Go Control is certainly an issue.
That is too bad. I absolutely love the simplicity of it for my system.
This won’t fix it. But, it will stop it from causing issues …
Hit it with a hammer!!!
How do I unpair a device? With Vera, you click delete and it will ask if you want to unpair and then I go to the Go Control and run through the zwave configuration. I have not unpaired anything yet on HA.
Similar.
Go to Settings | Devices & services | Z-Wave
Settings icon
Remove a device button
I ran the re-interview process and it updated the temperature to the correct temp. Let’s hope that fixes it.
Hmmm. Might be no more than a restart like you did above.
But, hoping it works ![]()
It didn’t work.
Grrr. Time for the T6 I think.
I woke up this morning and the temperature was 63 on the app so it updated but it seems like it’s not updating real time. hmmmm
I wish this had just worked.
It shows idle when it’s on.
Are you using zwave js ui?
I am using js ui now. Just switched a month or two ago. So, it has worked for me on both.
Is js ui solid? As a side note, there was another guy who had the same issue as me and posted what he said above and a link to what the issue is.
I am going to use it to turn it on and off and then upgrade to the T6.
He said he used polling at first which I’m okay with doing but don’t know how to do it.
No issues.
A great guide if you decide to switch.
Do you know how to do what he mentions here:
“I was able to fix it by adding an automation that fired every ten minutes to do a “Z-Wave Refresh Value” for “Thermostat Air Temperature.” But polling is a terrible solution…”
How do i know if I have HAOS? I bought an HA green.
Installation method of Home Assistant OS is HAOS.
How many Z-Wave devices do you have? It is a mesh network and that is when it works best.
