I’m using home assistant to integrate my alarm system motion sensors. Currently it displays the motion in realtime, but you have to click on each sensor to see recent history.
Wondering if there is a way to get an entity’s colours fade to black over time.
In essence, if there is motion at the sensor right now, or very recent, the colour is red, and over the next say 30 minutes, the colour will face back to black. This is a good way to quickly see recent activity around the house. Sort of like a heatmap.
The eyez-on website has similar functionality and this is what I would like to reproduce.
Shown below you can see all zones had activity in the last few minutes, but zone 15 didn’t have activity for several minutes and the colour is now starting to fade to a slightly fainter red. Eventually it will fade to black completely
Any suggestions how this can be achieved in lovelace?
